Family Adventure Days!

Adventure activities that you can try with the kids! Back by popular demand - 5th & 26th May 2008.

Choose any five of the following activities to try out on the day! Book in advance or come along and choose on the day.

Adults:  £20
Children under 16: £15

parachute

Parachute Simulator

This is one of our most accessible activities. We have a staircase running up the middle of our tower that gives a comfortable walking ascent. Climb up the staircase where you’ll be met by your staff member who will attach you to the simulator. When you’re ready, you’ll simply ... jump off! The fan turns as you descend and slows you to a speed that won’t hurt you at all! (maximum weight limit here of 100kg).

Giant Swing

Giant Swing
Either alone or with a friend; strap yourself into the swing before being pulled back by your team.  You’re in control - when you feel that you’ve reached your limit – pull the rip cord and go swing!

Adventure Tunnel

Adventure Tunneling
Dare you become Indiana Jones and enter out tunnel complex?  Full of dead-ends and trap doors, this series of rooms and passages will eventually lead you to the top of the tower.  The challenge is getting there…

Jacobs Ladder

Jacobs Ladder
As a team of two three or four - climb to the top of the ladder.  There’s another twist here that we prefer to keep to ourselves.., try it and discover the secret for yourself.

Climbing

Climbing Wall
An old favourite.  This wall runs along and up the side of the tower.  Our brand new design features easily removable/changeable holds for you to set your own challenges.

Abseil Platform

Abseil Platform
This is another of our most accessible activities. We have a staircase running up the middle of our tower that gives a comfortable walking ascent. Climb up the staircase where your staff member will meet you and talk you through the abseil process before helping you to lower yourself off the tower in the traditional manner. This is a great activity for getting used to heights.

Trapeze

Leap of Faith
Either singly or as a team of two – climb to the top of the wobbly pole to stand on the platform on top. Once there, you must agree when to jump off together and touch the punch ball before swinging away and being lowered to the ground.

Bridge jump

Bridge Jump
Either singly or as a team of two – step backwards from our bridge and swing through below. The trick here is to agree when to pull the rip-cord. Not easy when you’re 15m above the ground!
