When are you open?
We’re open year round. Seven days a week. In the evenings, the course is floodlit which makes for a very atmospheric experience!
What do I need to wear for the activities?
Wear anything loose and appropriate for the weather. We suggest that you wear trainers or boots and long trousers as the wooden poles will have a few splinters during the first few months of use. The ground under foot consists of treated bark chips, so is clean and smells nice too!
Do I need to be fit?
No. A couple of the activities require a little upper body strength, but let us know in advance and we can avoid those on the day. We would recommend that you do not use this if you have heart trouble or are pregnant. You will be required to fill out a Medical Form before you attempt the activities.
I’m scared of heights – is there anything that you can do for me?
You will be relieved to know that we operate a strict Challenge By Choice policy where no one will be coerced into doing anything that they do not want to do. You set your limits. We promise not to try to coax you beyond those limits. Remember that our High Level Ropes Course is a TEAM activity – this means that for every climber there will be at least 1 back up safety person. You will be essential to the success of the day even if you don’t leave the ground.
What’s the Environmental Impact on the trees around the site?
We have a full environmental plan for all of our working sites. This is primarily because we’re passionate about trees. We love them and know that if we look after them then they’ll look after us. All the wood for the courses has come from sustainable sources.

I want to book the Rope Course as part of a larger conference or business meeting.
No problem. There are excellent conference and restaurant facilities AND overnight accommodation at both facilities. Contact us for a better explanation of facilities and prices so that you can plan your perfect team day.
I have specific learning objectives for my team. Can you help?
Again, no problem, our team of facilitators from Active Training are experts in delivering specific team training modules in areas from Leadership, Effective Communication and Cross-Team Support. Contact us for more details.
How about after a wedding or for a stag or hen do?
Yet again, no problem. The only thing that we must insist upon is that no-one drinks before or during the ropes activities. High Ropes and alcohol simply do not mix! Hens – how about a Spa treatment or sauna after the rope course? Stags – we can arrange to pick you up to get you to the rope course and drop you off at a bar in town – let us know how we can help.
Can you take my kids/Youth Club/Form Year?
We believe that the Adventure Rope Course is perfect for young people to explore their limits in a safe and supportive environment. We would ask that for every group of up to 12 that you bring along there should be 1 accompanying adult (they can have a go too for free)!
How can I reserve my prefered dates?
Contact us to check availability and then use our easy online payment facility for the deposit.
